Engine and Transmission Computer and Electronic Diagnostics

We specialize in automatic atransmission service and repair, but our diagnostics very often takes us into engine computer control and electrical systems. For this reason, we utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and maintain the latest databases for testing and technical service bulletins (TSB’s). Throughout the years, we have chosen to take on complex electrical problems, rather than running from them. This has provided us with the understanding necessary to successfully brainstorm transmission and engine computer and electrical problems.

A Transmission Rebuild or Overhaul is preferred over a Remanufactured Replacement

There are a number of reasons for choosing this option when a major transmission repair is required. First of all, we do a better job than the mass rebuilders that are contracted by the OEM automobile manufactures or independent mass rebuilding facilities. Where necessary, we can correlate the cause of failure to the internal transmission problem, something you won’t find with an outsourced rebuilt transmission. Next, we use upgraded components to address specific design flaws within the transmission, which large companies rarely do.

We can offer a Remanufactured Transmission as a Replacement

There are times when a remanufactured transmission replacement is a viable option. This includes situations such as a broken case or a transmission that has damages that make an overhaul uneconomical. Sometimes the customer needs the vehicle back immediately, and a dealer may have the transmission in stock. In these situations, options and prices are presented to the customer prior to the commencement of work.
